Select a length that aligns with your primary fishing environment and storage needs.
Select Power for Target Species
Choose rod power based on the species you target. The Pure Lure 7'2" Ultra Light BFS Casting Rod features Light power, suitable for small lures and sensitive presentations. The Pure Lure Vikas 6'9" Medium Heavy offers Medium Heavy power, designed for bass fishing in thick cover. Heavier power provides the backbone needed to pull fish from obstacles. Match the power rating to the weight of your lures and the strength of your target fish.
Compare Action for Sensitivity
Evaluate rod action to determine sensitivity and hook-setting speed. The Pure Lure 7'2" Ultra Light BFS Casting Rod uses Fast Action, bending near the tip for quick response. The Pure Lure Vikas 6'9" Medium Heavy employs Extra Fast Action, which concentrates flex even closer to the tip. This enhances sensitivity for detecting subtle bites. Check Blank Material for Weight

Align Combo Type with Reel
Ensure the rod matches your reel configuration. Both the Pure Lure 7'2" Ultra Light BFS Casting Rod and the Pure Lure Vikas 6'9" Medium Heavy are designed for Baitcasting combos.
