It also includes a one-year warranty with customer support offering one-time replacement or refund assistance based on inquiries. This rose gold model gives way to the silver edition if the recipient prefers a neutral metallic aesthetic, or to the charcoal silver model if a larger display and classic retro body are preferred.

Presenting an entirely different design language, the HOTU Mini Digital Camera adopts a classic rangefinder appearance finished in Charcoal Silver with leather textures. Measuring 1.88 by 0.79 by 1.21 inches and weighing 20 grams, it is slightly thicker than the other two models yet remains lighter than a typical wireless earphone case. It includes a dedicated lanyard for wearing around the neck or wrist during travel and casual outings. Designed for spontaneous video recording and daily memory keeping, it brings tactile retro charm to anyone exploring miniature digital photography.
The primary upgrade on this model is its generous 1.26-inch preview screen, which makes framing subjects and browsing recorded clips significantly easier than on smaller screens. It captures 1080P Full HD video through a 2MP lens and 1/4-inch CCD sensor, pairing a 2MP effective still resolution with automatic exposure control and AVI file formatting using H.264 compression. A built-in flash assists in low-light environments, while 6 built-in filters—including vintage film tones and black-and-white modes—provide instant stylistic variety. For data management, the camera features direct OTG and USB ports on the body, facilitating immediate sharing with computers and mobile phones using the included 8GB memory card.
This retro-styled unit represents an excellent mini digital camera for gifts, especially for younger creators, kids, and vintage photography enthusiasts who appreciate tactile styling and an easier-to-see preview display. Nevertheless, buyers should note that the listing does not specify the battery capacity or continuous recording time for this specific model, and it does not specify expandable storage limits beyond the included 8GB card. Those who require an ultra-slim metallic chassis with an included keychain ring or an out-of-the-box 32GB card will be better served by the rose gold or silver models.

Before You Buy
Before finalizing your choice, it is helpful to note a few hardware details that the product listings do not specify or include. Regarding mounting options, the specifications across all three models list compatible mountings as “XX,” confirming that these keychain cameras do not feature standard 1/4-inch tripod screw mounts or action-mount brackets. Shoppers must also keep realistic performance expectations in mind regarding sensor resolution and video quality. The listings clearly emphasize that these compact keychain devices are intended for casual enjoyment rather than professional photography. With basic 2MP sensor resolution and video recorded in the AVI format, footage and photos offer a stylized, soft, early-digital look rather than ultra-sharp modern smartphone clarity. If you view these cameras as fun accessories, creative party tools, and nostalgic gifts with built-in flash and retro filters, they offer an engaging and portable way to capture everyday moments.
